Ok, so you’ve received an invitation…now what?
We know the wedding is coming up quickly, the invitations went out way later than expected and we apologize for that…Evidently buying a house and having a wedding in the same summer can take its’ toll on your time and energy (and money..!). But they’re out and that’s what counts!
RSVP-ASAP
If you are coming to the wedding (and we hope you all are) we would really appreciate if you could fill out the accompanying RSVP card, slip it into the self-addressed, postage-paid envelope and get that baby in the mail as quickly as you can. Remember to fill out your name, your guest’s name if applicable, and the number of guests including yourself. Even if we see each other every day, and you tell us you’re coming to the wedding, you still need to send us that little card back ASAP…it’s our way of organizing everything so we’re not scrambling 2 days before the wedding, trying to figure out if everything is covered.
If you can’t make it to the wedding, unfortunately you still need to invest those 5 minutes in filling out the RSVP card and mailing it back to us (with your name signed, of course!). Reason being, If we don’t get an RSVP card back we’ll assume it was lost in the mail or you didn’t get it and we’ll be chasing people around to find out if they’re coming or not…something we won’t really have time to do with everything that’s happening right now.
Good to know
The ceremony and reception will be taking place at Dowding Water Gardens on Saturday, September 4th at 4pm. Dowding Water Gardens is located 25 minutes west of London near Mount Brydges. Ample parking is available on site, and guests are encouraged to use our free limo shuttle to return home after the reception.
If you’re like us and you rely on Google Maps to get you everywhere, you should know that Google made a mistake and mapped Dowding Water Gardens in the wrong area. If you’re not familiar with the area or you need directions, please consult our location page to get specific directions to the Gardens. Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at outdoors, so remember to dress accordingly. It will still be fairly hot outside, but it may cool down a bit at night, so if you’re the type to get cold easily it would be a wise choice to bring a jacket/sweater/shawl.
The wedding reception will be catered by a really great chef who has taken the time to come up with a great menu that should satisfy everyone’s tastes and needs. However, if you are vegetarian/vegan or have any other dietary restrictions, please notify us by calling or emailing us through our contact page.
can’t wait to see you there!
